The Golden State Warriors want to preserve their hold of the No. 9 seed in the Western Conference over the Los Angeles Lakers, and the New Orleans Pelicans need to keep the Phoenix Suns at bay to avoid falling down the standings into the play-in tournament. Suffice it to say, tonight's matchup at the Chase Center is important for both sides.
The road side has won by an average margin of 36 points in the prior two meetings this season, theoretically giving the psychological edge to New Orleans.
