Milwaukee Bucks Vs. Los Angeles Lakers Same-Game Parlay: March 8, 2024

The Game: Milwaukee Bucks vs. Los Angeles Lakers, 10 p.m. ET

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Los Angeles Lakers ML

A 125-90 loss at the hands of the Golden State Warriors was the Bucks' first since returning from the All-Star break in seven games, so perhaps it was just a one-off and Milwaukee will resume its winning ways against Los Angeles.

The Lakers, though, haven't dropped consecutive games since the end of January, and are a perfect 5-0 SU in their last five meetings against Eastern Conference competition which includes a victory over the Boston Celtics.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is still dealing with a nagging Achilles and looked a step slow against the Warriors despite finishing with a respectable 23 points in 32 minutes. Los Angeles needs this win more being 3.5-games back of the seventh seed and climbing out of the play-in tournament, with a one-point spread hinting at this game being tight until the finish.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: LeBron James To Record 8+ Assists

Like Antetokounmpo, LeBron James is also dealing with an injury of his own as his left ankle flares up from time to time, including at the very end of a 130-120 loss to the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday.

James is expected to play against Milwaukee to hopefully resume his nine-game streak of eight assists or more. His 13 against Sacramento were his second-highest output of the season, as well.

The only red flag which would keep him from reaching the total is his ankle, but James continues to reassure everyone that he'll be fine as he and the team continue to monitor it over these final weeks.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Bobby Portis OVER 14.5 Points

Bobby Portis has scored 20 or more points in consecutive games for the first time all season. The last time he scored to this degree was in December of 2022.

The 14.5-point total is relatively safe since it doesn't require Portis to reach 20 points for a third time, making this prop far more attractive. The 29-year-old forward has surpassed that number in four of his last six games, three of which ended up being wins for Milwaukee.
