While taking the Nuggets to cover as the four-point favorites would generate more profit at -108, Denver is only 7-12-1 this season when favored by at least 3.5 points away from the Ball Center. It's 15-5 SU under those circumstances, though, having won six in a row and 11 of its last 12.
The Clippers are without Kawhi Leonard as he continues to sit out with an injured knee, and the team's record in 2023-24 without him available is just 3-4 SU while having lost their last two attempts.
Denver is 2-1 this season against Los Angeles, but lost its last matchup on Dec. 6, although Leonard suited up that night. The Clippers looked out of sorts on Tuesday in a 14-point loss to the Sacramento Kings, and overcoming the Nuggets won't make their lives any easier.

We're going to the Michael Porter Jr. 3-pointers made prop again because it's worked out for us so well in the past, so why ruin a good thing?
The -410 odds are reflective of what should be a surefire hit, as Porter Jr. has converted two or more shots from behind the arc in five-straight games and 12 of his last 13 appearances.
Teammate Jamal Murray remains questionable with an ankle injury, but should be return on Thursday, Porter Jr. would still have a healthy dose of attempts from 3-point range to put the minds of bettors at ease.
Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Terance Mann OVER 8.5 Points
We're taking a chance here on Terance Mann, as he's scored fewer than eight points in five of his last six games and only gone OVER in 29 of his 68 total appearances, which equates to 29.8 percent of the time.
So where's the optimism stemming from? Perhaps it's a combination of Leonard's absence and Los Angeles simply needing more of its players to step up after the well ran dry against Sacramento.
Finishing with double-digit points isn't too outlandish of a request of Mann, and since he's a starter at 25.4 minutes per night, we'll take a flyer to boost the overall odds of this same-game parlay.
