March Madness is officially underway! College basketball fans across the globe are in for a treat, as opening day brings us a matchup between surprise Pac-12 Tournament champion Oregon, and the South Carolina Gamecocks.

March Madness Same-Game Parlay Matchup: Oregon vs South Carolina
Oregon meets South Carolina in a 6 vs 11 seed round of 64 March Madness battle. The Ducks are coming off of four straight wins and a miraculous Pac-12 Tournament championship. Meanwhile, South Carolina overachieved all year, but fell apart against Auburn in the SEC Tournament. The Gamecocks were blown off the floor, losing 86-55.
Pick 1: Oregon -1
This line has flipped dramatically after opening at Oregon +2.5. Led by star center N’Faly Dante and guard Jermaine Cousnard, Oregon attacks the offensive glass, ranking 34th in second-chance conversion opportunities.
The Ducks have the length and athleticism to disrupt passing lanes, and force opponents into bad shots. They force about 12 turnovers per game, and have held their last four opponents to under 70 points.
With the momentum the Ducks have, I like Oregon to win big here. South Carolina is being overvalued for over achieving in a tough SEC. But Oregon has the athletes and bucket getters to end the Gamecocks season.
Pick 2: Jermaine Cousnaird OVER 4.5 rebounds
Jermaine Couisnard has finished with five-plus rebounds in three of his past four games. He’s been filling the stat sheet for an Oregon team that desperately needs his production. South Carolina ranks outside the top-80 in both offensive and defensive rebounding. Couisnard over 4.5 rebounds is an easy play.
Pick 3: Jackson Shelstad OVER 17.5 Points, Rebounds, Assists
Freshman guard Jackson Shelstad has come on strong for the Ducks down the stretch. With 16 points in four of his past six games, Shelstad is the third member of Oregon’s playmakers. He’ll be a huge part of a Ducks victory.

He’s hit this number in each of his past three games, and should have plenty of room to operate, with the Gamecocks focused on stopping Dante and Couisnard. I love Shelstad to have a huge game.
