Nick Starkel had 306 passing yards and two touchdown passes in the win, helping the Spartans erase a 20-7 halftime deficit with three touchdown drives in the third quarter.
The Spartans were 2-point underdogs against Nevada, making Friday’s win their third of the season as an underdog. They also defeated Air Force 17-6 as a 7.5-point underdog and San Diego State 28-17 as a 10-point dog.
