Clemson favored by -13 against Maryland on Saturday

Two ACC teams licking their wounds after rough outings last week collide at Maryland on Saturday. Clemson is looking to bounce back from a blowout loss to Florida State.

Maryland lost its two top playmakers—receivers Stefon Diggs and Deon Long--to injuries in its loss to Wake Forest last week.

Clemson opened as a 13-point favorite over the Terrapins, who have covered the spread in three of their last four games as home underdogs. They failed to cover, however, as a home dog in a 27-26 win over Virginia on Oct. 12.

The Tigers were embarrassed at home in 51-14 beat-down by Florida State. It’s the kind of loss that can derail a season.

Clemson won last year’s meeting against Maryland, 45-10. The Tigers have won three straight versus the Terrapins, straight-up and against the spread.

They will face the 6-1 Tigers, who own a 3-4 ATS mark on the season. In totals betting, the Terrapins are 4-3 favoring the UNDER so far this season while the Tigers are 4-3 favoring the OVER.

They failed to cover the 4.5-point spread as underdogs, while the total score (65) made Sportsbooks of OVER bettors.
