College Football Week 3 Odds Analysis

The Auburn Tigers are 5-0 straight up over their last five games in September but are 1-4 against the spread over that stretch. Auburn will be on the road this Saturday going up against the LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge.

LSU opened as a 6.5-point favorite, but was quickly bet down to -7.5 at sportsbooks including Sportsbook. Auburn has not looked sharp at all so far this season and needed overtime to beat Jacksonville State as a 39-point favorite at home

Last year Auburn beat LSU 41-7 at Auburn, so LSU should be fired up to try to get some revenge in this one. Auburn is 4-1 ATS in its last five games against LSU.

Fighting Irish Slip to Underdog Status

Georgia Tech opened as a 2-point road underdog at Notre Dame this week but has received steady enough action to flip to a 2-point road favorite.

The Yellow Jackets should be an even bigger favorite at this point as Notre Dame is without its starting quarterback and running back who were both lost for the season due to injury. Georgia Tech is 4-0 ATS in its last four games against Notre Dame.

Bettors don't seem to be too worried about going against the Alabama Crimson Tide at home this week, taking the Mississippi Rebels on the road to bring Ole Miss down to +6 at Sportsbook after the team opened at +8.5.

Mississippi has certainly looked good on offense so far this season with 74.5 points per game through its first two games. That number will come down against Alabama of course, but the Rebels are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games against the Crimson Tide.

Tigers chalk vs cardinals thursday

The Clemson Tigers are 4-0 SU and ATS over their last four games, and they'll be on the road this Thursday night to take on the Louisville Cardinals. This game opened as a pick'em, but bettors were all over Clemson to bet the Tigers down to a 6-point favorite. Louisville is 0-5 ATS in its last five games at home.

The Georgia Bulldogs are just 1-4 SU and ATS in their last five games against the South Carolina Gamecocks. The Bulldogs will try to break out of this slump as a 17-point favorite at home this Saturday.
