FSU Struggling When Visiting Clemson

If Florida State wants to win the ACC Atlantic they will need a win over Clemson this Saturday, but the Seminole have struggled in Clemson. FSU is 1-5 SU and ATS in their past six games at Memorial Stadium.

Shark Bites
  • The home team is 8-1 in the last nine meetings between these two teams.
  • FSU is 2-8 ATS in their past 10 following a win.
  • Deshaun Watson has not thrown an interception in the past two games, a first this season.

FSU could have easily folded last week coming off a loss to Georgia Tech and without starting quarterback Everett Golson and running back Dalvin Cook, but the Seminoles kept calm and won 45-21 over Syracuse. Backup quarterback Sean Maguire let his play on the field do the talking, with 348 passing yards and three touchdowns, while letting everyone know FSU will be fine if Golson remains out.

Clemson can legitimately run the table with only FSU looking like they could be a bump in the road for the Tigers. In the past two games Clemson has scored 114 points with quarterback Deshaun Watson putting up six touchdowns and no interceptions.

A 38-29 result in favor of the Tigers is the prediction by the Odds Shark handicapping pick engine. View the computer score prediction and who will win the pick on the moneyline for all upcoming NCAAF matchups here.
