Seminoles visit the Demon Deacons

The Florida State Seminoles are back in the No. 2 spot in the BCS rankings, following their 41-14 victory over Miami.

But to keep that spot the 'Noles will have to do more than just win out – they'll have to win impressively. That is to say, they'll have to blow teams out.

Florida State is an early 35-point favorite for Saturday's game at Wake Forest. The Demon Deacons have been a home dog of 20 or more points only twice since 1995, both times to FSU, both times they covered the spread.

The Seminoles have already covered the spread this season as favorites of 35, 40 and 21 points, on their way to a 6-2 ATS mark.

The Demon Deacons, meanwhile, need two more wins to become bowl-eligible.

Wake Forest has actually won four of the last seven games in this series, although last year the 'Noles, as 28-point favorites, beat the Deacs 52-0.

Supporters of the Seminoles have seen them go 8-0 and 6-2 ATS so far this season, while the Demon Deacons are at 4-5 and 4-5 ATS. In totals betting, the Demon Deacons are 1-8, while the Seminoles are 7-1.
