NFL Week 16 OddsShark Computer Picks

With a full slate of sports set for Christmas Day, you won’t have to worry about Sportsbook your presents too early – you’ll be getting gifts all day. The OddsShark Super Computer has made its picks once again to help pump your bankroll back up after your likely Christmastime spending spree.

The Ravens and Steelers square off in the afternoon game on December 25 and our computer is picking the boys from Steeltown in a 32.6-13.5 rout. This pick flies directly in the face of the trends as the Ravens are 4-0 SU and 3-1 ATS in their last four against Pittsburgh, but considering how the Steelers have played at home this year, it seems justified.

Drinking all day is an annual tradition for a lot of people on Christmas but you may want to keep sober enough to stay awake for the prime-timer between the Broncos and Chiefs – well, at least until you make your bet. The computer likes the Chiefs at home in a 28.4-16.2 12-point win and cover. Denver has been pretty Grinch-y toward the Chiefs at Arrowhead for the last half decade but maybe the Broncos will be in the giving mood come Sunday.

Home for the Holidays

The holidays are a time to reflect on our relationships with family and possibly realize why we don’t make it home very often. For NFL teams, though, home field could be where the heart is in Week 16. Our computer has picked 12 ATS and SU home Sportsbooks so visiting teams could be left out in the cold on Christmas.

Last week it was road teams that led the way as they went 11-5 ATS. The year-to-date ATS record for home and away teams, however, is very close to .500 so logically, things should balance themselves out this week – right?

Favorite Time of the Year

I hope you’re not sick of the Christmas puns yet because I’ve got them coming out of my chimney. The computer is putting its faith on a very slippery roof in Week 16 as it’s picking teams that are currently favored to win to go an almost perfect 15-1 both ATS and SU. There are a lot of really close lines this week so it’s kind of surprising and if you end up going with underdog value, you may end up with a stocking full of coal.

New England is the biggest favorite on the board right now at 17 points in its home matchup with the Jets and the computer thinks that line is about 14 points too low. It’s projecting a Pats’ 38.1-6.5 win over the jalopy Jets and luckily for Todd Bowles, New York probably won’t fire him on Christmas Eve so his job is likely safe until at least the new year.
