Anytime Goalscorer Picks Tonight: Dallas' Defensive Blindspot

The NHL has plenty of player and game props to bet on including an anytime goalscorer pick. Which is pretty self-explanatory. Every Tuesday and Thursday, with the help of our betting reports, I will choose a few players who I think will find the back of the net.

NHL Prop #1 - Brock Boeser Vs Dallas Stars (+190)

NHL Prop #2 - Sam Reinhart Vs New York Islanders (+135)

NHL Prop #3 - Kirill Kaprizov Vs San Jose Sharks (+100)

NHL anytime goalscorer odds & picks: march 28

Whether it's continuing a goal streak or getting back on the scoresheet, here's who I have scoring a goal in the NHL matchups tonight.

brock boeser anytime goalscorer vs dallas stars (+190)

The top of the Western Conference meet as two of the best offenses face-off at Rogers Arena. Dallas' defensive efforts are sturdy, sitting below league-average in goals allowed to each position -- except one. The Stars' single blindspot belongs to right wingers, who they allow 0.74 GPG, the fourth-highest mark in the NHL.

Boeser, who leads the Canucks with 37 goals, will look to take advantage of the weak spot. When it comes to the three teams who allow more goals to Boeser's position (San Jose, Columbus, Toronto), he has potted eight goals across nine meetings.

I'm also loving the fact that the 27-year-old is back in Vancouver, where he is noticeably stronger in the goal department. This season, 23 of his goals have been recorded on home ice. Oh, and before you ask -- he's played an even split of 36 road and home games.

With two games in hand on the leading Bruins, it's not out of the question for the Panthers to takeover the Atlantic Division

The Panthers opponent, the Islanders give up a lot of scoring chances, I'm talking coughing up the third-most shots in the league at 33.1 per game. Even worse, New York gives up a whopping 1.61 GPG to centers -- the second-worst mark.

Sam Reinhart has scored in each of his two outings against the Islanders this season and is also carrying a hot stick with three goals in his last two performances.

Kirill Kaprizov anytime goalscorer vs san jose sharks (+100)

In their last seven meetings, opponents have collected at least four goals against San Jose. We know Minnesota is going to score, it's just a matter of figuring out who. In their last three losses, the Sharks have given up 15 goals. Of the 15 goals, seven of them were pocketed by centers.

Eriksson Ek could be returning from his lower-body injury tonight. But, I'm not confident enough rely on him to net one. Instead, I'm going to ride on leading-scorer, Kaprizov. The 26-year-old is all over the net, sniping 26 shots in his last five. With all those shot attempts, it really shouldn't be that hard to sneak past Mackenzie Blackwood.
