c: dylan cozens vs minnesota

Not off to his best start to the season, Cozens was looking to build off his breakout season last year which showed him put up 68 points. Thankfully, with eight points in his last 10 game, Cozens is starting to find that same form and helping the Sabres collect some wins. Skating on the team's second line, Cozens has found a fit that's working.

Cozens also anchors the teams first powerplay unit and gets quality chances from the middle of the slot. Don’t forget that he’s also making passes to Tage Thompson on the powerplay, too. At only $4,900, it’s worth taking a shot at Cozens and adding him to your line up tonight.

C: nazem kadri vs detroit

It’s been an interesting two years in Calgary for Kadri, if it’s been the dispute between Huberdeau and coach Darryl Sutter last year or just the teams bad play, it seems to be always something with these Flames. Now though you can finally see Kadri and the Flames are looking forward and turning the ship around slowly -- but surely.

Kadri is currently on pace for 69 points which would be his second-highest point total in a season behind his 87-point campaign two seasons ago in Colorado. Kadri currently is leading the teams second line alongside youngsters, Connor Zary and Martin Pospisil. Playing alongside some youth has reflected on Kadri as he’s found some of his old jump, looking solid with nine points in his last 10 games. Kadri breaks the bank a bit at $6,800 but he’s worth the investment averaging 11.4 fantasy points per game.

W: mitch marner vs anaheim

Mitch is back and looking like his old self with 14 points in his last 10 games. Criticized for much of the season so far, Marner has definitely hushed the media lately with his 60 points on the year. Coming off a career-high 99 points, the 26-year-old is on pace to just be shy of that mark with 95. Skating on the Leafs first line, Marner is elevating his game to ensure that the Leafs get another crack at the playoffs. He has averaged 15.42 fantasy points per game in his last five outings.

W: alex ovechkin vs montreal

Just 59 goals away from breaking Wayne Gretzky’s NHL goal scoring record, Ovechkin is looking hot right now. With six goals in his last six games, Ovi is putting any doubts that he’ll break the record to sleep. In those games, the 38-year-old has averaged a whopping 17.06 fantasy points per game. Ovechkin is on the Caps' first line and is always out there if there’s an empty net, recently breaking NHL record for most empty net goals with 57.

W: tyler seguin vs edmonton

Probably one of the best bangs for your buck, Seguin only cost $4,400 against the cap but he currently has 45 points in 54 games. The Ontario native is currently on pace for for 30 goals this season, which would be the sixth 30-goal campaign of his career. Seguin has been dominant as of late averaging 14.58 fantasy points per game in his last five appearances.

d: torey krug vs nashville

With seven points in his last five games, including a ridiculous five assist effort, Krug is feeling good. As an undersized defenseman, the 5-foot-9 American battles nightly. Krug will earn you fantasy points whether it’s on the offensive or defensive side, like blocking shots or throwing hits. In his last five matchups, Krug has averaged 15.78 fantasy points per game.

D: simon nemec vs philadelphia

The former second-overall pick has transitioned into the NHL smoothly. Currently skating on the Devils first d-pairing alongside big-man Kevin Bahl, Nemec is getting major ice time. On the year, the Slovakian currently has 14 points in 32 games and is on pace for a respectable 27 points. Not too shabby for a 20-year-old rookie defenseman.

G: Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen vs minnesota

One of the bright spots for the lowly Sabres this year, Luukkonen has looked sturdy and is developing into the goalie that the organization hoped he would. Currently rocking a 13-13-2 record on the year, the Finn has been a rock carrying a 2.51 GAA, a .913SV% and a solid four shutouts on the year. Luukkonen is one of the cheapest goalies you’re going to get at only $6,900 in his last five games he’s averaged 15.66 fantasy points.

UTIL: nico hischier vs philadelphia

With 11 points in his last 10 games, Hischier is elevating his game at the right time for the Devils. Supposed to be one of the NHL’s most dangerous teams this season, the Devils have disappointed and have taken a step back from their great year. A massive downfall was the early season injury to Hischier, who missed 11 games. But, there's an upward swing. The 25-year-old gets plenty of looks on the Devils first powerplay.  In his last five games, Hischier has averaged 15.78 fantasy points.
