c: nathan macKinnon vs carolina

MacKinnon is torching the NHL, pocketing an insane 85 points in 51 games which puts him on pace for 51 goals and 136 points. Those are stats you'd see in a video game. If he stays on this pace, it will be the second time MacKinnon eclipses 100 points in a season. His previous career high was 42 goals last season, so this could be his first time ever reaching the 50 goal mark.

Mackinnon does it all for the Avs, he is the catalyst offensively and has his footprint all over the puck. But, he also gets it done in the physicality department by always being in on the forecheck, laying hits and bringing the energy.

MacKinnon currently has a price tag of $10,200 which is very steep but comes with an average of 20.5 fantasy points per game. In his last five games, the 28-year-old is averaging 29.7 fantasy points per game. That includes an absurd 61.3 fantasy point night against Washington, where he picked up four goals and added an assist.

C: nicolas roy vs arizona

A heart and soul player, Roy was a big contributor in Vegas’  Stanley Cup run last year. He is currently boasting 27 points across 42 games this season. Roy has definitely been taking advantage of his extra ice time since the injury to Jack Eichel, where he has moved up to the first line center position to play along side Marchessault and Barbashev.

The Canadian has impressed in his new role, racking up three goals and six assists in his last five outings. Roy is a steal at only $3,800 and averaging 7.4 fantasy points per game. But, don’t let that fool you though because Roy has averaged a whopping 15.18 fantasy points per game in his last five meetings.

W: blake coleman vs new jersey

A criminally underrated player, Coleman shows up each night for his team. Currently with 40 points on the season, Coleman is on pace for a career high in goals (33) and points (66).

Coleman has been hot of late alongside his line mates, Backlund and Mangiapane. In his last 10 games the Texas native has five goals and five assists.

W: lawson crouse vs vegas

A big frame who can move, Crouse is an effective player for the Coyotes and he also can be effective for you in your lineup tonight. Crouse has found his offensive groove, as he carries 19 goals this year, putting him on pace for a career-high 33 goals and 50 points. The 6-foot-4 winger is a must add going for only $4,800 to the cap and averaging 9.2 fantasy points per game.

W: stefan Noesen vs colorado

With 27 points this season, Noesen is on pace for 46 points -- which would eclipse his previous season best of 36 points set last season. However, the 30-year-old's game isn’t just based off his offensive output. His impact goes way beyond that whether it's his constant hounding on the forecheck or eagerness to block shots. All these traits add up to making Noesen a valuable player for your fantasy line up.

d: ethan bear vs florida

Signing mid-season with the struggling Capitals, Bear has hit the ground running and definitely been a reliable for them on the back end. Not a player who is always going to light it up on the scoresheet, Bear brings more to the table. On the ice, he's a smart decision-maker by often making the right breakout pass and rarely turning over the puck.

With all these things, the defenseman is a must add to your team and will help you in a variety of aspects to collect fantasy points.

D: cale makar vs carolina

Cale Makar flies on the ice and just makes opposing players look silly. Whether it’s navigating the open ice or balancing on the blue line, the former Calder Trophy winner can handle it all. On the dominant Avs, Makar currently has 60 points this season which puts him on pace for a career-high in assists (79) and points (101). The 25-year-old has a steep price tag at $8,400 but has averaged a ridiculous 21.62 fantasy points per game in his last five matchups.

G: samuel ersson vs winnipeg

Quietly going along with his business, Ersson has been a key role in the Flyers surprisingly great start to the season. With a 13-9-3 record, Ersson has been steady between the pipes and always gives the Flyers a chance to win. The 6-foot-3 netminder currently is flaunting a 2.53 GAA and a .900SV%. With Philadelphia's goaltending strength dilemma, Ersson will be taking the reins and looking to step up for Tortorella and the Flyers.

UTIL: pavel zacha vs vancouver

The big Czech center isn’t just a massive frame. Zacha can also flex his smooth hands and a wicked wrist shot that he uses to fill the back of the net. Skating on a line with Pastrnak, who is one of the NHL’s best scorers, Zacha always has his eyes open looking for where the sniper is. Currently packing with 31 points this year, Zacha is any team's wish for a depth scorer.
