Expert Picks Tonight: Seattle's Home Finale Should Be Easy Win Over Sharks

In tonight's NHL expert picks, I've found some credible moneyline, puckline and total bets for the slate of games.

Jets vs stars
The Game: winnipeg Jets vs Dallas stars, 8 PM ET

TeamPucklineTotalMoneyline
Winnipeg Jets+1.5 (-205)O6 (+105)+130
Dallas sTARS-1.5 (+170)U6 (-125)-155

Pick: Stars ML (-155)

Two things are at stake here for Dallas -- a win tonight would clinch the division for them and give them a clean sweep against the Jets this season.

Winning 10 of their last 11 outings, the Stars have snagged nine goals across three meetings with the league's second-best defense (2.49 GAPG).

Don't consider Winnipeg's four-game streak promising, either. The last time the Jets soared into American Airlines Center with consecutive wins, they lost 4-1.

There's plenty more to play for on Dallas' side.

sharks vs kraken
The Game: San Jose Sharks vs seattle kraken, 10 pM ET

TeamPucklineTotalMoneyline
San Jose Sharks+1.5 (-130)O6 (+100)+205
Seattle Kraken-1.5 (+110)U6 (-120)-250

Pick: Kraken 1.5 (+110)

This is Seattle's final game of the season hosting at Climate Pledge Arena with no playoff buzz lingering. Luckily, a win against the terrible Sharks in front of the Kraken's fans at home should leave them with a somewhat chippier attitude.

In this matchup, I'm confident enough to take the puck line considering San Jose allows the 3.97 GPG, the worst mark in the country. Also, in seven of its last eight meetings, San Jose hasn't covered the puck line when facing competitors on winning streak.

The favourites have won outright in the Kraken's last seven games, where they were favored in five of those matchups.

red wings vs penguins
The Game: detroit red wings vs pittsburgh penguins, 7 PM ET

TeamPucklineTotalMoneyline
LA Kings-1.5 (-125)O6 (+102)-310
San Jose Sharks+1.5 (+105)U6 (-122)-250

Pick: O6 (-125)

A final playoff push in the Eastern Conference as the Pens and Red Wings square-off, each with 84 points in 78 games.

Both meetings between these two teams this season hit the OVER, which was set at 6.5 goals.

Pittsburgh is playing hot, winning six of its last eight and scoring 27 goals across those victories. This is practically a must-win for both teams. I expect them to be doing everything they can to fill the net.
