Jake Oettinger featured in our nhl goal in the first ten minutes

NHL Goal In The First 10 Minutes Odds: Oettinger Looks Like He Can Stop Anything

The NHL has plenty of games and plenty of action for us to indulge in. There's a variety of player and game props to choose from -- including whether a goal will be scored in the opening 10 minutes.

NHL Prop #1 - Dallas Stars vs Toronto Maple Leafs

NHL Prop #2 - Tampa Bay Lightning vs New York Rangers

NHL Prop #3 - Minnesota Wild vs Chicago Blackhawks

NHL goal in the first 10 minutes Odds & Picks: february 7

Of the three NHL matchups tonight so here are the ones to bet on for a goal in the first 10 minutes.

dallas stars vs Toronto Maple Leafs goal in the first 9m 59s of period - nO (+125)

Put it this way, if Jake Oettinger plays the way he did last night, it is a lock he will keep Toronto off the board. Yesterday, Oettinger stopped a career-high 47 shots and recorded a .979SV% in Dallas' 2-1 win over Buffalo.

But, the question is whether Dallas will score early, which it has done in three of its last four wins. Well, when they last met in October, the Stars only netted one against the Leafs. Samsonov doesn't have mind-blowing stats with a 3.35 GAA in 20 games player. But, in his last five starts, he has only let one slip past him early. I'll take my chances with the plus-money pick here.

Tampa Bay Lightning vs New York Rangers goal in the first 9m 59s of period - YES (-155)

The Lightning sit just inside the top five for team with most goals scored this season (174). There's plenty of talent to choose from with Kucherov, Point and Stamkos all earning 20 goals or more. They've scored in the first 10 minutes in four of their last five. Based on Tampa Bay's previous results, the wheels are in motion as it has scored six goals in its last three-straight.

minnesota wild vs chicago blackhawks goal in the first 9m 59s of period - YES (-145)

Well, we all know it won't be Chicago hitting the back of the net. The Blackhawks average the league's worst 2.10 GPG. When does Bedard come back again? Oh, and their defense is also bottom-five.

When Minnesota has faced weak offensive and defensive teams, it takes advantage. Take its recent meeting with Washington, the Wild took a two-goal lead in the opening five minutes.
