Shots On Goal Props Tonight: Jeff Skinner Will Be Glad To Be Back At KeyBank

The NHL has an abundance of player and game props to get your hands on. A popular, rather simple option is shots on goal. We don't need the pucks to go in (though that's a nice bonus), we just need them to wind up their stick and hit the net.

NHL Prop #1 - David Pastrnak UNDER 4.5 Shots (-145)

NHL Prop #2 - Anthony Duclair OVER 2.5 Shots (+150)

NHL Prop #3 - Jeff Skinner OVER 2.5 Shots (+124)

NHL shots on goal odds: march 27

Who likes to shoot right now? With just two NHL matchups tonight, here are the guys we're leaning on to go OVER or UNDER their shots on goal prop.

david pastrnak UNDER 4.5 Shots (-145)

If the Bruins win tonight over the Lightning, they clinch the Atlantic and sit comfortable heading into the postseason. So, there's plenty of incentive at Amalie Arena today.

When it comes to position, Tampa Bay gives up the most shots to right wingers. We all know who sits in that spot for Boston -- David Pastrnak, who just eclipsed second-straight 100-point season. The 27-year-old averages 4.75 shots per game and has sniped 347 total, ranking him second behind MacKinnon. However, I am still siding with the UNDER.

The Czech has played Tampa Bay the second-most of all teams in the league (34), recording 126 shots in those career meetings to average 3.70 in each outing. Of the three times Pasta has met the Lightning this season, he has only cashed the OVER on the single occasion at TD Garden.

anthony duclair OVER 2.5 Shots (+150)

For the sake of profit, I like the possibility of this prop. Since being picked up by the Lightning, Duclair has collected nine points while riding a seven-game point streak. While he was with the brutal Sharks, in his last outing against Boston, the 28-year-old pocketed three shots. But, clearly he's found a better shade of blue to wear on the ice.

March has already showcased Duclairs best hockey, where he is obliterated his season-high in points and goals while also being on pace to record the most shots across the year. I'm taking a stab at this.

jeff skinner OVER 2.5 Shots (+124)

I know what you're thinking -- Jeff Skinner? He's clearly been feeling off on the West Coast road trip, recording eight shots across five games. His best performance was a hattrick and six-shot effort while facing the Kraken last week.

But, Skinner has collected nine shots in his two meetings against the Senators this season. Plus, the Sabres finally return to KeyBank Center after a long trip. This season, the 31-year-old has been more stellar at home, recording 98 shots in his 29 home appearances compared to 89 shots in his 35 road outings. Honey, I'm home!
