Bellator 69 Betting Odds Preview

The Bellator Season 6 Middleweight tournament will come to a conclusion on Friday night when Maiquel Falcao and Andreas Spang battle in the finals for a chance to fight for the vacant Bellator Middleweight title later this year.

Also on the Bellator 69 main fight card will be a Welterweight tournament semifinal between Karl Amoussou and David Rickels, as well as a 115-pound female super-fight between the top two fighters in the weight class, Megumi Fujii and Jessica Aguilar.

Spang beat MMA odds of +260 in his Bellator Middleweight Season 6 tournament semi-final against Brian Rodgers and will now have to beat them again against Falcao.

As the current +255 underdog at Sportsbook, Spang will find it more difficult to stage a comeback against what Falcao will be bringing in the early going of the fight. The price on Falcao is currently -310 at Sportsbook and seems warranted considering the fighting styles of the two combatants.

Karl Amoussou is currently a -195 favorite at Sportsbook to move on to the Welterweight tournament finals with a win over David Rickels. That price is down from the initial MMA odds of -205, which could indicate that the current +168 payout on the Rickels upset could have some value.

Both fighters are coming off first-round KO wins and should throw down in spectacular fashion on Friday night. If Rickels can weather the initial Amoussou storm his chances to get the upset will improve.

Japanese MMA sensation Fujii is currently coming at great price of -260 at Sportsbook. She will be facing one of her toughest opponents thus far in her career in  Aguilar, but it’s hard to go against the pound-for-pound No. 1 female fighter in the world.

Aguilar will currently pay +220 at Sportsbook, but her strengths are grappling and that won’t match up well against Fujii’s judo and jiu-jitsu black belts.
