We're back with another MLB same-game parlay, and this time, we're handicapping the Padres vs Dodgers game at 10:10 p.m. ET.
Here's my MLB same-game parlay for the contest, where I break down the three parlay legs I need to hit:
Padres vs Dodgers Same-Game Parlay: April 12
The Game: Padres vs Dodgers - 10:10 p.m. ET
Bet | Odds |
---|---|
Yoshinobu Yamamoto OVER 4.5 Strikeouts | -120 |
Dodgers to win | -200 |
Michael King OVER 2.5 Earned Runs | -125 |
Overall | +275 |
Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Yamamoto OVER 4.5 Strikeouts (-120)
The Padres have seen Yamamoto once and broke through against him. Granted, that five-run outing marked the Japanese star's MLB debut. Since that hiccup, though, Yamamoto has been dynamite, twirling 10 scoreless innings along with 13 strikeouts.
The 25-year-old has nailed the OVER on his strikeouts prop in two straight starts. I feel good about his second crack at the Padres lineup Friday.
Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Dodgers to win (-200)
Yamamoto on the hill doesn't guarantee a victory, but the Dodgers have already taken two of three from the Padres earlier in the year and can let their offense go to town after a clean outing from Yamamoto.
And, as I'll note in a moment, the Dodgers have some strong history against Friars starter Michael King.
Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: King OVER 2.5 Earned Runs (-125)
I'm not sure how the Dodgers will break through to King, but they'll do it, perhaps starting with Mookie Betts at the top of the order. Betts is 1-for-2 lifetime vs King with a two-run homer. He's not the only Dodgers hitter with success against the righty either.
Shohei Ohtani is 2-for-6 vs King with two homers and three RBIs. All told, active Dodgers hitters are 12-for-39 vs King with a .936 OPS.
