NBA Expert Picks Tonight: Back the Scorching Hot Lakers

A 13-game Sunday slate gives NBA bettors plenty to wager on as we head towards the crescendo of the playoffs. Seeding battles rage on throughout each conference as teams vie for home-court advantage and try to avoid the play-in tournament.

Here are my NBA expert picks for tonight's games:

Washington Wizards vs Toronto Raptors

Washington Wizards+4.5 (-110)+152O 231 (-110)
Toronto Raptors-4.5 (-110)-180U 231 (-110)

Pick: Toronto Raptors Moneyline (-180)

Toronto finally snapped their 15-game losing streak in Milwaukee on Friday night. The Raptors will look to keep that momentum rolling at home against the Wizards.

RJ Barrett is all the way back after missing time, and Immanuel Quickley seems to be a full go for this one as well. Sharpshooter Gary Trent Jr. dropped 31 points on the Bucks on Friday and we should see similar returns against a Wizards defense that sits last in the NBA in points allowed. Washington is also 29th in opponent field goal percentage. Bet on the Raps to get the dub at -180.

New York Knicks vs Milwaukee Bucks

New York Knicks+4 (-105)+142O 220.5 (-110)
Milwaukee Bucks-4 (-115)-166U 220.5 (-110)

Pick: Milwaukee Bucks Moneyline (-166)

Both of these Eastern Conference playoff contenders are fading down the stretch. The Knicks are just 5-5 in their last ten games, while the Bucks have lost five of their last six.

New York have shot under 46% on the road this year and are playing their third game in four nights here. With Giannis Antetokounmpo expected back in the lineup, I'm riding with the Bucks to get the job done.

Los Angeles Lakers vs Minnesota Timberwolves

Minnesota Timberwolves+2 (-110)+110O 219.5 (-110)
Los Angeles Lakers-2 (-110)-130U 219.5 (-110)

Pick: Los Angeles Lakers -2

Don't look now, but the Lakers are on quite the run as we head down the stretch of the NBA season. Los Angeles is 9-1 in their last 10  games, with an average winning margin of nearly 10 points during that span.

D'Angelo Russell is scorching hot, scoring 21 points per game over the his last 10 contests. D-Lo's been knocking it down from deep, leading the NBA while hitting 43.6% of threes since March 1st. The Lakers will shoot for their fifth straight home victory, with Lebron James and Anthony both healthy and dominating. I like the Lakers ability to spread the floor offensively, and with their shooters firing on all cyclinders, Darvin Ham's squad will run away with this one.

Davis bullied the T-Wolves down low when these teams' met last month. Rudy Gobert offers little offensively, and the Wolves have sorely missed the versatile presence of KAT. Bet on the Lakers to cover the spread and continue their strong run of play. Each of these teams are listed at +3200 in the latest NBA Championship odds.
