Undefeated Wolverines Look to End ATS Slide
Unbeaten straight up in their past 10 overall, the Michigan Wolverines will try to end a two-game against the spread losing streak at Michigan Stadium on Saturday afternoon, when they host the Maryland Terrapins in a Week 10 college football matchup.
The 8-0 Wolverines remained one of just five undefeated teams in the nation with last week's 32-23 win over archrival Michigan State, but they failed to cover as 23.5-point road chalk to fall to 1-3 ATS in their past four. Michigan has also struggled to pay out at the sportsbooks at home, going 1-3 ATS in its past four, but has held visitors to 14 or fewer points in five of six this season.
The Terrapins are coming off a 42-36 loss in Indiana as 3.5-point underdogs, dropping them to 1-3 SU and ATS in their past four, including a pair of outright losses as betting chalk. Maryland is winless SU in 16 outings as an underdog of 20 or more points, dating back to 1997, but has covered in each of its past three.
Michigan handed the Terrapins a 28-0 beating last season as 13.5-point road chalk, but dropped a 23-16 decision to Maryland at The Big House two years ago, failing to cover as 6-point favorites in the first meeting between the two teams since 1990.
