It's Super Bowl time, which means we have to lock in our biggest Daily Fantasy Lineup of the season. You've probably already placed a Super Bowl 58 game pick, some player props, and maybe a halftime show wager.
But, I'm here to help you craft an NFL DFS Lineup for Super Bowl 58:
Super Bowl 58 DFS Lineup
For the purpose of our Super Bowl NFL DFS lineup, we're playing a standard single-game lineup with five flex spots and one captain within a $50,000 budget.
DFS Lineup: Super Bowl Sunday
Here's our optimized NFL DFS Lineup for the big game:
CPTN: WR Rashee Rice
$11,400
FLEX: RB Christian McCaffrey
$12,000
FLEX: QB Patrick Mahomes
$10,600
FLEX: RB Isiah Pacheco
$8,000
FLEX: TE George Kittle
$6,400
FLEX: WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling
$3,000
CAPTAIN: WR Rashee Rice ($11,400)
The 49ers have done a great job defending tight ends this season, allowing just three touchdowns to the position all year. So while everyone else is wasting a DFS spot on TE Travis Kelce, I'm going to Pat Mahomes's other top target. In three playoff games, Rashee Rice has seen 25 targets, caught 20 balls, and snagged 223 yards and a touchdown.
That's legit WR1 production and the type of breakout performance that could carry us to DFS victory. You've gotta take some risks to win in Daily Fantasy, and Rice is. a guy I'm willing to risk it on.

FLEX: RB Christian McCaffrey ($12,000)
A lot of people are going to have McCaffrey as their captain. But, for a single-game DFS contest like this, you have to try to find a way to differentiate yourself. We're banking on CMC having a big game and maybe scoring a touchdown or two, but not quite as big of a Sunday as Rice.
FLEX: QB Patrick Mahomes ($10,600)
I toyed with the idea of not having Mahomes in this DFS lineup, but I'm already banking on a big Rashee Rice day so I've gotta have the guy throwing him the ball. Mahomes has been amazing so far this postseason, throwing for nearly a 70% completion rate, five touchdowns, and no interceptions.
FLEX: RB Isiah Pacheco ($8,000)
I'd really consider building a DFS lineup for Super Bowl 58 with Pacheco as your captain. He's been unreal in the postseason the last few years, scoring a touchdown in four straight playoff games and reaching at least 75 yards every time. He's also nabbing reception points two, with at least one reception in every playoff game this season.
Facing off against a 49ers defense that ranked below average in rushing DVOA and has allowed 145 rushing yards per game this postseason, Pacheco could have a big day.
FLEX: TE George Kittle ($6,400)
This pick I'm not really sure about, to be honest. Kittle hasn't been a huge game-breaker in these playoffs and the Chiefs were actually pretty good at defending tight ends this year, allowing the ninth-fewest yards and just four touchdowns to the position all year. But, the alternative was Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker. So, Kittle still seems like the rice choice at this dollar amount.
FLEX: WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling
With Skyy Moore probably out and Kadarius Toney in the doghouse, MVS has jumped up the Chiefs' receiver depth chart. He still hasn't put together many big games this year — just once breaking 80 yards. But, we saw the trust Mahomes has in him on the final play of the AFC Championship Game, hitting MVS streaking down the middle of the field for a big third-down catch.

Among all the cheaper options for Super Bowl 58 DFS, I think Valdes-Scantling has the highest upside.
