Jimmy Garoppolo and George Kittle are both listed as questionable against the Giants while running back Raheem Mostert is doubtful and Tevin Coleman is out.
The 49ers were one of the best teams in the NFL last season with a 15-4 SU and 11-7-1 ATS record. Their championship window looked wide open after a competitive Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, but this flurry of injuries is going to be difficult to overcome, especially with all three of San Francisco’s division rivals kicking off the season with 2-0 SU records.

One week after being held to only six rushing yards on 15 carries, Saquon Barkley was off to a much better start last Sunday against the Chicago Bears with 28 rushing yards on his first four attempts. But disaster struck when the 23-year-old suffered a torn ACL and was lost for the season. The Giants went on to lose 17-13 to the Bears, falling to 2-12 SU over their last 14 games in the process.
This Giants team is built around Barkley. With their star running back out, it’s going to be up to second-year starting quarterback Daniel Jones to carry this team. Jones has completed 63 percent of his passes for 520 passing yards, two passing touchdowns and three interceptions through New York’s first two games.

New York’s offense isn’t likely to come to life in its first week without Saquon Barkley, even against an injury-laden 49ers defense. And with San Francisco also dealing with its share of injuries on offense, this matchup figures to be a low-scoring battle.
