In tonight's NHL expert picks, I've found some credible moneyline, puckline and total bets for the slate of games.
stars vs blackhawks
The Game: dallas stars vs chicago blackhawks, 3:30 PM ET
Team | Puckline | Total | Moneyline |
---|---|---|---|
Dallas Stars | -1.5 (-120) | O6 (-105) | -325 |
Chicago Blackhawks | +1.5 (-105) | U6 (-115) | +250 |
Pick: Stars -1.5 (-120)
Riding an eight game win streak visiting the United Center, the Stars rarely let the Blackhawks interrupt their success. In their last nine meetings coming off a win, Dallas is 8-1 SU when meeting Chicago.
During the thrilling streak, which keeps them on top of the Central Division and three-points ahead of Colorado, Dallas has won each game by two or more goals.
I'm not the only one who thinks Dallas is better on both ends of the ice while Chicago struggles to get any momentum going.

maple leafs vs canadiens
The Game: toronto Maple Leafs vs montreal canadiens, 7 pM ET
Team | Puckline | Total | Moneyline |
---|---|---|---|
Toronto Maple Leafs | -1.5 (+124) | O6.5 (-105) | -205 |
Montreal Canadiens | +1.5 (-150) | U6.5 (-115) | +170 |
Pick: Canadiens ML (+170)
If there's any time I'm comfortable laying money on an underdog, it's in historic rivalries like this. Regardless the skill and record discrepancies, Montreal will be skating like contenders at the Bell Centre tonight.
In their last six outings hosting the Leafs, the Habs are 5-1 SU. The last two meetings between these two have been close one goal games.
Toronto has just clinched its spot in the playoffs (we'll see how long that lasts) so there's not as much aggression attached to this matchup.
