Goal In The First 10 Minutes Odds: Leafs Are An Offensive Weapon

The NHL has plenty of games and plenty of action for us to indulge in. There's a variety of player and game props to choose from -- including whether a goal will be scored in the opening 10 minutes.

NHL Prop #1 - Montreal Canadiens vs Arizona Coyotes

NHL Prop #2 - Dallas Stars vs Colorado Avalanche

NHL Prop #3 - Toronto Maple Leafs vs Vegas Golden Knights

NHL goal in the first 10 minutes Odds & Picks: february 27

Of the NHL matchups tonight, here are the ones to bet on for a goal in the first 10 minutes.

montreal canadiens vs arizona coyotes goal in the first 9m 59s of period - YES (-165)

The Habs may have lost six of their last seven, but they've also scored in the first period on six of those occasions. Now, they have a proper chance of snapping their skid by hosting Arizona, which is dwelling in a 12-game dump.

Despite Connor Ingram recording a fair .911SV%, the Coyotes have been scored on in the first five minutes in five straight meetings. Arizona is always trailing.

Dallas stars vs colorado avalanche goal in the first 9m 59s of period - NO (+125)

Two of the league's top three offenses square off at Ball Arena. The Avs are currently recording 3.66 GPG while the Stars are sniping 3.64 GPG. But, there's really no trends or reason to believe either of these teams get on the board quickly.

Dallas hasn't pocketed a goal in the first 10 minutes since its 9-2 blowout over Nashville a couple of weeks ago. However, Colorado isn't any more promising in the early scoring department, getting on the board twice in the opening 10 minutes in its last five outings.

It also doesn't bode well that both teams are without key depth players. Colorado's Nichushkin was just cleared by the NHLPA Player Assistance Program to resume practicing with his group and Dallas' Tyler Seguin is day-to-day with a lower-body injury. Both guys have eclipsed the 40-point mark.

vegas golden knights vs toronto maple leafs goal in the first 9m 59s of period - YES (-165)

The Leafs are on a heater after winning seven-straight matchups. One of those wins was a notable 7-3 showing while visiting Vegas, where Toronto scored four in the first period with just one clocking in before at the 10 minute mark.

Auston Matthews is on a hunt for surpassing 70 goals, Nylander is on fire by leading the group with 78-points and Marner is a play-making machine with 49 assists. Overall, the Leafs are an offensive weapon.
