UFL week 2 Picks & Best bets
Below I break down my picks for Week 2 of the 2024 UFL season.
san antonio vs memphis: UNDER 40 (-110)
Both the Brahmas and Showboats showed off their defense in the opening week, eaching holding their opponents to 12 points. San Antonio's offense was playing strategic, patient football with QB Chase Garbers completing just three tosses longer than 10-yards. His 158 yards and two touchdowns clearly prove he's gameplan is to play meticulously.
The Showboats kicked off the season with plenty of penalties in their meeting with the Roughnecks. So far Memphis' strength lies in its ability to put pressure on opponents, forcing three fumbles and recording four sacks last week.
I think the Brahmas diligence and Showboats suffocating defense will be a recipe for the UNDER.
st. louis vs arlington: blackhawks -5.0 (-110)
This will be a revenge game. Plenty of drama surrounded the XFL last season with a 7-3 Battlehawks group missed out on the postseason. Meanwhile, Arlington had an unexpected win the 2023 XFL championship, going a brutal 4-6 in the regular season.
I easily called Birmingham cruising through Arlington last week. To be honest, I also felt confident the Battlehawks would cover the large seven-point spread, too. But St. Louis was shockingly upset by Michigan, 18-16.
AJ McCarron's leadership isn't totally misplaced, throwing for two touchdowns last week. The 33-year-old has the passion, I mean who else would ask the Cincinnati Bengals to release them to return to St. Louis?
His 37 passing attemts last week prove he's building a presence on the field. I'm going to take St. Louis to shake off last week and regroup.

birmingham vs michigan: stallions -6.5 (-110)
Michigan's EJ Perry looked lost during opening week. His two touchdowns on the scoresheet don't highlight anything as the 26-year-old was disorganized and barely made a solid connecting pass.
Still promising to see the Panthers defense hold the Battlehawks to 16-points. Perhaps, Michigan can have some opportunity to slow Birmingham in certain situations.
Even slowing down the Stallions won't be enough to beat them, though.
houston vs DC: UNDER 40.5 (-110)
Hopefully last week made the Defenders realize that they can't rely on four field goals to get ahead on the scoreboard. Truthfully, I didn't get a good enough glimpse at either offense. I think Jarrett Guarantano and Jordan Ta’amu both have plenty of potential.
Until I see a spark, the safest bet is to play the UNDER.
How To Bet On UFL Betting Odds:
While you can bet on spreads and point totals, one of the easiest ways to bet on UFL betting odds is through a moneyline. This moneyline bet means you simply pick which side you think will win between the favorite (signaled with a minus sign) and the underdog (with a plus).
A UFL moneyline of +200 means that you would win $200 on a successful $100 wager. That’s also equivalent to fractional odds of 2/1, decimal odds of 3.00 and implied odds of 33.33 percent. A negative moneyline of -200 means that you would have to wager $200 in order to win $100 on the favorite.
