F1 Podium: Odds to Win the 2018 Singapore Grand Prix

The prospect of racing Formula 1 at night is as frightening as it is alluring, and the championship will be back under the lights in Marina Bay on Sunday with Sebastian Vettel (+120) as the betting favorite to win his fifth Singapore Grand Prix.

Vettel won four out of five races in Singapore from 2011 to 2015, but missed the podium after qualifying problems in 2016 before crashing out last year when Lewis Hamilton won his third night race.

Let’s take a look at three bets to make on Sunday’s race:

P1: Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel Combination Podium Finish (+120)

As a four-time Sportsbook on this track, Sebastian Vettel is certainly a heavy favorite to finish on the podium so we’ll need to combo him with another driver to make this a profitable bet. Enter points leader Lewis Hamilton, who won here last year and finished second in Friday’s practice session to Vettel’s teammate Kimi Raikkonen. At +120 for the top two drivers in the championship to make the podium is a great value.

P2: Valtteri Bottas to be the Leader at the end of Any Lap (+100)

Valtteri Bottas, despite being on the top team in F1, is an underrated driver. He is the only driver in the top six to have plus-odds to be the leader at the end of any lap, largely because he hasn’t had a whole lot of success on this track.

P3: Lewis Hamilton to Win Outright (+500)

I’m making this bet every week until somebody proves that they can beat Lewis Hamilton consistently. At +500 for the points leader to win, I’m always taking this.
