Where Are They Playing The Super Bowl This Year?

The NFL does things differently when it comes to its championship game, the Super Bowl. Unlike the NHL, the NBA and even MLB, the National Football League hosts its championship game at a neutral venue.

The location of the next three Super Bowls has been decided years ahead of time. We already know where Super Bowl 57, 58 and 59 will be played. So where is No. 57 being played this year?

Where Are They Playing The Super Bowl This Year?

State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, will host Super Bowl 57. It’s the first time the stadium has hosted the NFL’s championship game since 2015.

Do you remember that Super Bowl from seven years ago? Maybe you do and maybe you don’t, but just in case you don’t, let me just leave you with this name as a clue: Marshawn Lynch.

The Seahawks had the ball on the New England one-yard line in the final minute and opted for a passing play rather than hand it off to the running back who was fourth in total rushing yards that year with 1,306. Asking him to pick up one yard seemed like a slam-dunk decision.

Instead, Russell Wilson’s pass was picked off by Malcolm Butler at the goal line to preserve a 28-24 Patriots win that would go down as one of the most dramatic in Super Bowl history.
