c: yanni gourde vs washington

Gourde sacrifices his body by blocking shots and or taking hits to set the tone every night. With 25 points on the year, the 32-year-old isn’t having the best offensive campaign but he is versatile and still can put up fantasy points without hitting the score sheet.

Skating on the Kraken’s third line, alongside wingers Tolvanen and Bjorkstrand, the line gets many assignments against the opposing teams top players and are primed to shut them down.

Gourde is great value at only $3,300 and on average will get you a respectable 6.8 fantasy points. In his last five games, he has averaged 8.4 fantasy points. We will splurge elsewhere tonight.

C: nick paul vs NY Rangers

Looming at 6-foot-4, Paul is a force for the Lightning by winning draws, throwing his body, blocking shots and hounding the puck on the forecheck. The Canadian currently has 35 points on the year, which puts him on pace for a career high 44 points and 23 goals.

Paul also is seeing some time on Tampa Bay's second unit powerplay as the net front presence. Ringing up at only $3,600 against the cap, Paul is a great add to any lineup to stay under budget and still get points. In his last five outings, he has posted about 8.5 fantasy points.

W: anthony duclair vs NY Rangers

Traded to the Lightning at the trade deadline, Duclair has been piping hot racking up 10 points in his last five meeting. Elevating his game at the right time, the 28-year-old looks to impress his new team tonight and looks to build off his impressive debut with Tampa Bay -- where he potted a goal and assist in a 7-0 win over the Flyers.

Slotted in on the second line, alongside Stamkos and Cirelli, the line will look to continue to build chemistry for the playoff push. Playing in his groove, snagging Duclair is a must tonight, especially costing only $3,800 to our salary. In his last five games, Duclair has averaged a whopping 22.1 fantasy points.

W: kirill kaprizov vs anaheim

One of the hottest guys in the NHL right now, Kaprizov has sniped seven goals in his last five matchups. Getting big ice time on the Wild's first line, the Russian has plenty of opportunity to dictate the game in favor of Minnesota.

With 73 points this season, Kaprizov is on pace for a very respectable 93 points. The 26-year-old does breakour bank at $9,000 but will net you around 15.6 fantasy points per game. Boosting that average to 21.8 fantasy points in his last five.

W: jonathan marchessault vs calgary

In Vegas since day one of its expansion, Marchessault has been a heart and soul of the team. Playing some good hockey lately, the 33-year-old has five goals in his last two appearances. Currently he is on pace for 73 points, which would be his second best output behind the 75 point campaign he posted back in 2017-2018. Taking $6,600 out of our salary, Marchessault will net you around 13.2 fantasy points per game.

d: brock faber vs anaheim

Second in rookie scoring this year, Faber has been outstanding for the Wild and is logging major minutes trying to propel them into a playoff spot. With 38 points so far, the 21-year-old is on pace for 47 points which would be phenomenal rookie season.

Playing on the Minnesota's first d-pairing with Middleton, the two defenders get major ice time. Faber has also been given the reins on the Wilds' first powerplay unit -- which showcases skills from Matt Zuccarello and Kirill Kaprizov. On average, Faber will net you around 9.2 fantasy points per game.

D: shea theodore vs calgary

An offensive-defenseman, Theodore is readily jumping in the play looking to create scoring chance for him and the team. Clocking in at a point per game this season, Theodore has 12 points in his last 10 outings. A threat to hit the score sheet every night, the 28-year-old will reward you with around 12.7 fantasy points per game.

G: anton forsberg vs columbus

To keep any fantasy line up in check, a integral part is to find a goalie who is affordable but can still stand tall between the pipes. Forsberg is that guy tonight as Ottawa goes up against Columbus, an offense that sits below league-average with 2.95 GPG.

Recording a 11-10-0 record this season, Forsberg carries a fair 3.29 GAA, a .888SV%. But at only $7,400 against the cap, the Swede is one of the cheapest goalie options but he’s shown he can get the job done in the fantasy point department. On the year, Forsberg averages 9.8 fantasy points per game.

UTIL: Mikael Granlund vs pittsburgh

One of the bright spots on the struggling Sharks, Granlund snagged 40 points in 51 games this year. The 32-year-old is playing some good hockey lately, recording nine points in his last 10 games. Playing net front on the Sharks' first powerplay unit, Granlund gets many looks to score each night. The Finn is a value guy who averages 9.1 fantasy points per game.
