NHL Shots On Goal Props Tonight: Tage Thompson Is Shooting... Just Not Much Luck

The NHL has an abundance of player and game props to get your hands on. A popular, rather simple option is shots on goal. We don't need the pucks to go in (though that's a nice bonus), we just need them to wind up their stick and hit the net.

NHL Prop #1 - Cole Caufield OVER 3.5 Shots (-120)

NHL Prop #2 - Tage Thompson OVER 3.5 Shots (+100)

NHL Prop #3 - Steven Stamkos OVER 2.5 Shots (-130)

NHL shots on goal odds: February 13

Who likes to shoot right now? With all the NHL matchups tonight, here are the guys we're leaning on to go OVER or UNDER their shots on goal prop.

cole caufield OVER 3.5 Shots (-120)

Oh hey, it's me again taking another OVER on a Caufield shot prop. But, if it's not broken, don't fix it. In case you missed it, the Habs are looking God awful by losing six of their last eight. However, like I always say, it doesn't phase the 23-year-old winger.

In that span, Caufield has snuck 29 shots. He has only hit UNDER four shots twice in his last eight outings. We also know Anaheim doesn't have the strongest defense, allowing 3.43 GPG.

tage thompson OVER 3.5 Shots (+100)

Since returning from the All-Star break, Thompson has been all over the net by recording 11 shots in two appearances. He may not be having the best puck luck, notching just a single point, but that only works in our favor because he'll be eager to capitalize on his abundant opportunities.

The Kings may have defense (2.69 GAPG) that sits just outside the league's top five, but they're also a group that strings together losses. Since January, they've only pocketed four wins in 16 meetings. So, it is very possible to shut them down.

Steven Stamkos OVER 2.5 Shots (-130)

The Lightning visit the Bruins probably hoping to flex their powerplay that sits first in the league with a promising 30.86%. Luckily for Tampa Bay, Boston isn't a stranger to the penalty box, piling up the fourth-most 234 penalty minutes this season.

Stamkos gets plenty of minutes on the first powerplay unit, which we can expect to see a fair bit of. The 34-year-old has snagged 21 shots in his last five games, including a six shot performance in Columbus a couple of nights ago.
