Anytime Goalscorer Picks Tonight: Defenders Score Against Arizona

The NHL has plenty of player and game props to bet on including an anytime goalscorer pick. Which is pretty self-explanatory. Every Tuesday and Thursday, with the help of our betting reports, I will choose a few players who I think will find the back of the net.

NHL Prop #1 - Jordan Kyrou vs St. Louis Blues (+125)

NHL Prop #2 - Jack Eichel vs Edmonton Oilers (+135)

NHL Prop #3 - Quinn Hughes vs Arizona Coyotes (+330)

NHL anytime goalscorer odds & picks: april 10

Whether it's continuing a goal streak or getting back on the scoresheet, here's who I have scoring a goal in the NHL matchups tonight.

jordan kyrou vs chicago blackhawks (+125)

Chicago's last few outings have been back-and-forth between wins and losses. Not that it matters, the Blackhawks are stuck at the bottom of the standings anyways.

But, half of the eight goals the Blackhawks have recently conceded were scored by centres. This upholds the stats that show Chicago allows the second-most goals (1.58) and fourth-most shots (11.36) to the position.

In his brisk sixth season of his career, Kyrou has notably scored seven goals in his 15 meetings with Chicago. The 25-year-old has only scored more against San Jose (9) and division rivals, Minnesota (11).

In his last performance hosting the Blackhawks at Enterprise Center, the Ontario native potted two goals.

jack eichel vs edmonton oilers (+135)

Vegas still hasn't officially punched its ticket to the playoffs. With a game in hand and trailing by a point, the Golden Knights could easily catch the Kings for the third Pacific Division spot.

Edmonton's defense is pretty sturdy but it doesn't diminish the fact that Vegas has snuck a total of seven goals in two meetings this year. The tricky part is none of the same guys have scored twice on the Oilers this season. So, instead, let's look for the hot stick.

Jack Eichel has obviously been on a heater, scoring four goals in his last three. Three of those goals were against Vancouver, another stingy defense.

Now, the 27-year-old sits one away from eclipsing his first 30-goal season since 2019-20.

quinn hughes anytime goalscorer vs Arizona Coyotes (+330)

When coming off a win, Vancouver is 5-1 SU when going against Arizona. Both of the wins this season were low-scoring 2-1 victories.

Arizona is allowing the second-most goals per game (0.61) and fourth-most shots (9.03) to players who patrol the blue-line.

In four of their last five, the Coyotes have given up at least one goal to a defensemen. One of those recent matchups was with the Canucks, where Hughes got on the board first.
