Shots On Goal Props Tonight: Monahan To Inflate Stats Vs. Chicago

The NHL has an abundance of player and game props to get your hands on. A popular, rather simple option is shots on goal. We don't need the pucks to go in (though that's a nice bonus), we just need them to wind up their stick and hit the net.

NHL Prop #1 - Connor Bedard OVER 2.5 Shots (-160)

NHL Prop #2 - Sean Monahan OVER 2.5 Shots (+120)

NHL Prop #3 - Leon Draisaitl UNDER 2.5 Shots (-110)

NHL shots on goal odds: February 23

Who likes to shoot right now? With all the NHL matchups tonight, here are the guys we're leaning on to go OVER or UNDER their shots on goal prop.

connor bedard oVER 2.5 Shots (-160)

I am once again jumping on the Bedard bandwagon for shot props. This kid tries his absolute best to work with what he's got. Since returning from injury, he has sniped 13 shots in four games.

It won't be an easy task for the 18-year-old tonight. Winnipeg's defense is top notch, allowing 2.37 GPG (ranked first) and 29.15 shots per game (ranked eighth). That's all thanks to Connor Hellebuyck, who is carrying an elite .925SV% across 40 starts.

Bedard will be shooting from anywhere hoping to sneak one past the former Vezina Trophy winner and get his team on the board.

Sean monahan OVER 2.5 Shots (+120)

There's not as much pressure or difficulty to overcome from the Jets' bench -- though it would be embarrassing to get upset by the Blackhawks

Chicago has allowed 201 goals in 57 games this season, the fourth-most in the league. Monahan, who just recently joined Winnipeg in a trade with Montreal, has been liking his new threads.

The Ontario native has collected five goals, including a hattrick, alongside nine shots in his last three appearances. Plus, he's getting plenty of looks on the powerplay. This is the perfect opportunity to inflate his stats and show Winnipeg why picking him up was worth it.

Leon Draisaitl UNDER 2.5 Shots (-110)

Draisaitl hasn't been going crazy in the shots department lately, not recording more than two shots in his last five meetings -- two of which were decided in extra time.

The 28-year-old is usually flipping the puck to McDavid. Edmonton's depth is starting to show with players like Hyman, Bouchard, Foegele and Ekholm putting in a group effort.
