Our Top Week 17 TNF Prop Bet: Malik Willis Passing Yards UNDER

In three career NFL starts, Titans QB Malik Willis has zero passing touchdowns and three interceptions. He’s certainly a threat with his legs, but the rookie QB hasn’t showing anything with his arm yet.

Worse yet, the Titans’ overall passing attack hasn’t been great this year anyway. In 12 games, regular Tennessee QB Ryan Tannehill had only 13 passing TDs and six interceptions, barely averaging more than one passing score a game. Can we expect Willis to perform at the same level? Nope.

The Pick: Willis UNDER 0.5 passing touchdowns (-110) at Sportsbook

According to our odds calculator, a $100 bet on this prop would pay out $191, a $91 profit.

TNF Prop Bet #2: Tony Pollard Anytime Touchdown Scorer

Tony Pollard has been one of the best utility knife weapons in the NFL this year. The Cowboys running back has nine rushing touchdowns and three receiving scores in 15 games. In his last five games, Pollard has four touchdowns.

The Titans have a good rushing defense, but that could actually benefit Pollard. His teammate Ezekiel Elliott is more of a traditional downhill runner, so a receiving/outside run option like Pollard could see more targets tonight.

How To Place A Thursday Night Football Prop Bet:

A prop bet, short for proposition bet, is a bet on any contest or match event that does not directly impact the final score. You can place a bet on a point spread, total or straight-up winner, but props are a good way to stay engaged regardless of the score. NFL prop bets and TNF props are also great ways to take advantage of your research or roster moves that may impact carries or targets on any given week.

You can place one of these many TNF prop bets at any of our recommended NFL betting sites.

How To Read TNF Prop Bets:

Reading prop bet odds is just like reading any futures odds. If you were to look at fictional NFL First Touchdown Scorer odds for a Cowboys vs Buccaneers game, the odds would look like:

Dalton Schultz +300
Tom Brady +450
Mike Evans +700
CeeDee Lamb +1000

If you believe that Schultz is going to score the first TD from these TNF prop odds, and you wagered $40 on him, a winning bet would give you a payout of $160 – your original $40 is returned along with your prize of $120. To find out how much you would make for any bet, consult our Odds Calculator.
